Paul like so many others, has always been fascinated by cinema. It all started in the 5th grade when his grand father purchased a book for him “How NOT to write a screenplay” by Denny Martin Flynn. Paul was instantly hooked. Paul would spend the rest of his years into college reading book after book about the craft, watch as many behind-the-scenes and interviews as possible, and create his own vignettes. Paul even taught himself how to play piano to synthesize film scores which we hoped would be his ticket in.
Even with film being his passion, he never though a career in film was actually possible. He came from Tustin, CA after all, so a career in Mechanical Engineering and Business would be a better fit. That is until he spent one summer creating a short film titled “Iniquity”, a 15 minute LEGO stop motion film. Receiving some early recognition and making it into the Newport Beach Film Festival, it happened. Paul made the move to carving a career for himself in the world of movie making. Paul would go to to working on as many projects he could get involved in, no matter the role or type of project. Paul would later meet Cee French on the short film “Young Folks”. Together they would marry and form Chiron Films, Inc. producing project after project.
